Strawberries - one of the most beloved berries - has a 2,000 year history of cultivation. Unlike most plants and trees, strawberry vines have leaves, flowers, and fruit all at the same time instead of the more usual flowers being polinated and then fruit appearing later.
In fact, in some traditions, the green leaves are thought to represent wealth and abundance, the white flowers for purity, and the red fruit symbolizes courage and strength. A very lucky fruit!
